Nature, industry, and urbanity are often seen as opposing forces, but the boundaries between them are increasingly blurred. Landscape should serve as a medium where these dichotomies intersect, offering flexible and strategic urbanism that integrates social, economic, and environmental realities. In Anhovo, Slovenia, a city shaped by its century-old limestone quarry, excavation has left vast areas abandoned, with projections estimating 100 hectares will be vacated over the next century. This project reimagines these evolving territories, exploring possibilities for coexistence between ongoing industrial processes and new uses that transcend mere practicality.
