Developed in collaboration with herbst.design, EDDI is a conversational AI with a quirky personality, deep content expertise, and the unique ability to dynamically configure workspace environments. EDDI powers the Cognizant Workspace, an experimental installation that challenges the conventional understanding of flexibility in modern workspaces. While today’s environments appear diverse, their adaptability often falls short of human needs. EDDI transforms this paradigm by intuitively adapting spaces to anticipate interactive patterns and foster productivity. The installation doesn’t seek to answer but to provoke: How should we redefine workspaces in an era driven by AI? How will intelligent systems reshape productivity, collaboration, and the essence of human interaction?
